Colors That Are Common In Ferrets

Woolly creatures have varied colors and color patterns. The color of their fur is often influenced by the climate, in which they have to get used to in order to survive. Bears for instance, have a typical color of brown, but polar bears that are found in Artic Circle are usually white. This happens to hares and rabbits as well, the difference is, their original color which is brown changes into white as the autumnal period changes to winter. Originally, ferrets are "albinos" or have patched color patterns. To suit different taste of various ferrets owners and "wannabe" owners, ferrets are usually bred to produce offspring with different colors and color patterns.

The colors of their fur have something to do with their whiskers, undercoat, eyes, and nose. This applies to color pattern as well. There are often different colors found in different parts of their body. The specific color of your ferrets' body affects the color of their eyes, nose and undercoats. Ferrets also have different color patterns. Here you will find a few of their different colors and color patterns to help you choose one and learn more about their colors. Albino: As mentioned above, ferret's one of most typical color is albino. Albino ferrets normally have white or pinkish white body. They usually have pink or red eyes. However, the undercoats color of an albino ferret is unnoticeable, which other people do not prefer.

Black: Black or dark brown color is also one of the common colors you can find in a ferret. This ferret color is most referred to ‘chocolate' by most people. Ferrets have visible undercoats because of its dark colored fur which is more distinctive compare to white mouse (some people call an albino ferret that way and I don't).

Dark Eyed White: These ferrets are also white, but they are more distinctive compare to albino ferrets since they have different tints of white. To distinguish which ferret is a dark eyed white or an albino, simply look at their eyes and you will find the big difference between the two types of ferrets. Compare to albino ferrets, dark eyed ferrets have brown or black color of eyes. Another name for dark eyed white ferrets is DEW.

Silver: If you just based the character on its color, you will simply say that it is another kind of ferret that may look bland, but it's actually not. Undercoats of silver colored ferrets are still noticeable but it still depends on the color of their fur. In addition, silver ferrets usually don't have color patterns in their face.

No matter what kind of ferret you purchase, the color is not a big factor to consider. Their colors have nothing to do with their traits. What is important is how you bond with your little friend. Always take good care of your ferrets regardless of their color.

Color oops? Does it work if I have not been at my original hair color for three years?

I've probably dyed my hair more than 15 times over that time period, all different colors. If I use color oops, will it bring me back to my original color, even under my circumstances, or have I dyed my hair too much for it to remove all of the dye I have used over the years? Thanks!

No it won't take you back to your natural color. Color Oops, if used according to the directions, will take off the most recent color you put on your hair. It won't take off years of color.
